Please note: There is a lot of light pink soft material through the stone.  Usually the very light pink  part is extremmely soft / chalk like material.

Also, there is are two fracture cracks running the length. One is apx 1/8" inward and the other is runnding down the middle .

The Catlinite Stone pieces are not perfectly square and some pieces are harder than others.
Fairly easy to carve and polish to a high shine.
