This is a Rare Royal Copenhagen Crackle (Craquele) Glaze Octagonal bowl in Turquoise Blue and Gray. It measures aprox 7" across x 3" tall. It was designed by artist Thorkild Olsen. Dated being made in 1961 from the line being under the "R" in Denmark, as that is how the company dated their items at that time. On the bottom , There are no visible marks through the blue waves in the crest, meaning it was a 1st, not a seconds, in the quality of the product. The letters dcx, mean that the painter's initials were dc and the x means painted by. It is also numbered 460 3419.
